Characterised by its slender wooden poles and soft surface, the stool includes a woollen cushion for comfort, kept in place by a braided leather strap. Proper usage and maintenance:
Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. The designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
Fibre Wadding is made of carded thin polyester fibres that contain air in between the fibres. The entrapped air creates the ability to insulate and to provide a soft comfort feeling in the cushion.
In order to keep the fibres and cushion full of air, be sure to shake the cushion occasionally.
Crisp is multi-coloured fabric woven in an attractively strong woollen yarn – 93% wools of New Zealand, 7% polyamide. It has superb abrasion qualities made for everyday use, and is further more naturally dirt resistant. Crisp is both Oeko-Tex and EU Ecolabel certified and 100% free of heavy metals.
Maintenance: Crisp requires a minimum of maintenance and will keep its beautiful appearance for many years. Vacuum the upholstery regularly. Remember to use a proper attachment to avoid pilling.
Cleaning: The Crisp fabric should only be dry-cleaned. However, most spots can be removed with lukewarm water and a mild wool detergent. We recommend to treat stains immediately. It is a good idea to test on a minor spot before beginning the cleaning process. Use only a small amount of detergent and dry up with an absorbent cloth after.
Cleaning: The wood comes with no finish. If you choose not to treat it with soap or oil, use a suitable cleaning agent for wood.
Maintenance: As the wood is untreated it may be affected by grease and colorants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product. Be aware that the wood will change colour when applying soap or oil.
